Embracing Change

Moving from Fear and Resistance toward Clarity and Creative Solutions

Are you feeling anxious and uncertain about the future? You may be a CEO, ED or Manager of your own organization or of someone else’s. As a leader, you care about your people, and also want to make a positive difference in the world.

Perhaps you enjoy change but are noticing increased anxiety, reduced morale, difficulty focusing, and reduced productivity and creativity among your team/people.

We are hard-wired to fear change. That said there are proven tools and strategies that can help you and your team better understand and embrace (versus resist) change.

My 5-step “Art of Change Framework” is a proven model for embracing change whether it involves getting unstuck and moving forward when change is imposed on us, or whether we initiate a life or organizational change.

In this participatory keynote YOU will:

  • Learn what happens when we resist change
  • Discover a practical 5-step framework you can use to embrace change & generate creative solutions
  • Apply that framework to a major change.

With lessons from her #1 best selling book Learning to Dance with Life that includes stories from Pam’s own life as well as those of women from 3 continents she interviewed, this keynote is an educational and energizing experience for mixed audiences from corporate, not-for-profit, and public sector organizations, as well as associations, and groups of business and professional women.

How to Change from Driving and Striving to Thriving in Life and Work

One of the “gifts” that has come out of the pandemic is that it has forced many of us who are constantly “doing” and “giving” to slow down, pause, reflect and get clear on what is really important to us in life and in work.

I understand what it’s like to be constantly “driving” and “striving” having almost burnt out a few years ago.

In this interactive keynote you will:

  • Increase your understanding of the costs to your body, mind & relationships & to your work of “living life on a treadmill”
  • Explore 3 keys to thriving in life and work
  • Learn some powerful practices to help you stay happy, healthy & grounded as a passionate leader and changemaker.

As high achieving women, we are often so busy moving on to the next item on our to-do list that we forget to celebrate our achievements.

This video will explain why it’s important to celebrate.

“Hearing Pam speak, I was taken by the incredible passion and gift she has to share with all of us. She engages her audience in an authentic, enthusiastic and heartfelt way that is both delightful and inspiring. In following Pam’s simple yet effective approach to being, we can each create a life with greater peace, success and joy.”

– Emma Bloch-Hansen, MBA, Consultant and Director, Western Management Consultants

Based on her #1 best selling book Learning to Dance with Life: A Guide for High Achieving Women that includes stories from Pam’s own life as well as those of women from 3 continents she interviewed, this keynote is an energizing experience for mixed audiences from corporate, not-for-profit, and public sector organizations, as well as associations, and groups of business and professional women.

Why Feminine Leadership is the Key to Resolving
Conflict and Building Peace

Many of the critical issues we are experiencing in the world today are due to conflict. It may be conflict between different races, cultural groups, religions, genders, ethnicities and/or political parties. When we talk about systemic racism, gang violence and gender inequality, these issues all seem overwhelming and too big to tackle. Where do we start?

I believe that “authentic” feminine leadership holds the key to resolving such conflicts and to building peace in the world.

In this engaging and interactive keynote, you will:

  • Learn qualities of authentic feminine leadership
  • Discover why feminine leadership holds the key to resolving conflict and building peace in the world
  • Learn practical tools to support you to resolve conflict and to build peace in your personal and professional lives.

Engaging, educational and inspiring, this keynote is an energizing experience for both male and female leaders who are interested in making a positive difference in the world. Participants will walk away with practical tools they can begin using right away in their personal and work lives.

Here’s what participants are saying:

“I’m truly inspired by how Pamela weaves the real stories of her professional life into leadership lessons for us all. The breadth of Pamela’s experience and the positive ways that she challenges us to learn from life are necessary take-aways for today’s generation of leaders.”

– Kristin Garn, CEO, Mathtoons Media

“I was fortunate to have attended Pamela’s talk for the Women’s Leadership Network “Inspire Series” at a critical juncture of my own life. Pamela’s passion for what she does is infectious and inspires us to create a path that enables us to act as leaders without sacrificing our well-being and the things that are most important to us. As a high achiever herself, she draws on a wealth of stories from her own life to illustrate some of the simple but important lessons she’s learned about finding and maintaining balance.”
